BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson Community Schools Superintendent Kate Wall says they were informed by law enforcement on Friday morning that there was a social media post floating around that referenced a threat to student and school safety.
She said in a post on the district’s Facebook page that the post did not include the name of any school or district, but did include first names.
According to Wall, some Bronson students saw and shared the post and reported concern for their district.
Her statement went on to say, “District administrators and law enforcement have investigated the situation and have determined that the post is not in reference to Bronson Community Schools students or facilities. We take all safety situations seriously and we encourage you and our students to report any and all threats to student safety to a staff member immediately so they can be investigated.”
