BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Drivers will have be patient along M-86 west of Coldwater for the next few weeks as Michigan Department of Transportation crews will be working from the intersection of U.S. 12 to the Village of Colon.
Crews will be milling out and replacing rumble strips.
Paving work will also be performed on the section of M-86 east of Wheeler Road where a sink hole developed on September 3 which led to a two day shutdown of the road between U.S. 12 and Wheeler.
M-86 will remain open but drivers will have to be alert for lane closures.
Milling work is also being performed on eastbound U.S. 12 between Matteson and Lincoln Streets in Bronson. Both lanes of eastbound U.S. 12 will be closed for repairs on Monday. One lane will be open in each direction but oversized loads will need to be detoured.
