COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinals won their second straight home match as they defeated Pennfield 3-1 Wednesday at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium. Coldwater took the first set fairly easily, 25-13, before the Panthers battled back to win the second set 25-23. The Cardinals prevailed in the final two sets, 25-13 and 25-19, to improve to 14-7-3 overall, 2-1 in the Interstate 8.

The underclassmen matches were split. Pennfield won the JV match 25-21, 25-20.
Coldwater won the freshman match 25-20, 25-15. Leading the freshman team in kills was Kelsey Price with 5 and Alison Sherman with 3. Leading the team in aces was Caydee Marske with 4 and Gemma McVicker with 3. Alexa Carreon led the team in digs with 16.
