Cipriano Ortiz Hernandez, 59, of Bronson passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 surrounded by his family at his home in Bronson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Assumption Church in Bronson. Interment will follow the service at Bronson Cemetery.
First visitation will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson. Second visitation will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson.
He was born September 26, 1965 to Feliciano Ortiz Rangel and Teodora Hernandez Ibarra in San Felipe, Guanajuato. September 17, 2010 Cipriano married Petra Ortiz in Jonesville, MI and she survives.
Cipriano was a man of many trades always keeping busy and always a very hard-working man with his lifetime career as a truck driver. When not working, his interests and hobbies were taking long peaceful rides on his motorcycles and doing handy work around his home or working on his vehicles.
When possible, he would visit his native home of San Felipe, Guanajuato Mexico to spend time around his ranch riding horses and doing daily work just as he did as a child before immigrating to the US.
Above all else, Cipriano loved and cherished his family. He will be dearly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
In addition to his wife Petra Ortiz of Bronson, he leaves behind his children Viviano (Enrique) Guzman of Altos, OK, Marcos Ortiz, Victor Ortiz both of TX; his siblings Jacinta (Jose) Florres of CA, Alenjandra Ortiz of TX, Berta (Romeo) Rodriguez of TN, Feliciano (Maria Del Rosario) Ortiz of Bronson, Pedro (Josefina) Ortiz of Mexico, Eva Ortiz of Bronson; his grandchildren Natalia Guzman, Enrique Guzman, Berniece Guzman, and his many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Fabian Ortiz.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church.
