COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The last week of October is usually a time people are getting ready for Halloween, not golfing.
But the golf courses were packed on Tuesday as the high temperature in Coldwater hit 77 degrees as recorded at the Branch County Memorial Airport.
It was not a record. The record high for October 29 in Coldwater is 80 degrees.
With highs expected to get back into the upper 70s on Wednesday, the record high of 78 for October 30 is in jeopardy.
By the way, the average high for this date in Coldwater is 54.
Record highs were reported on Tuesday in Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Holland. The high in Kalamazoo was 80 degrees.
