WHITE PIGEON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings captured another M.H.S.A.A. Division Three district girls volleyball championship on Thursday night at White Pigeon as they defeated the Constantine Falcons three sets to one.
The Vikings won the first two sets 25-18, 25-21. The Falcons stayed in the match by winning the third set 26-24 but the Vikings claimed the district title with a 27-25 win in the fourth set.
Constantine finished their season with a record of 35-5-2.
Bronson was ranked eighth in Division Three in the latest Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association rankings.
The Vikings will take a 35-12-6 record into the regional semifinals at Bridgman next Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m..
They will face either Watervliet or Bridgman as those two squads will battle for the Cassopolis district title on Friday night.
The second regional semifinal at Bridgman on Tuesday will pit Bangor against third-ranked Kalamazoo Christian.
