Kenneth Ray Wendorf, 83, of Quincy passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at his home.
Cremation has taken place, and arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born April 20, 1941, to Warren and Ruth (Allen) Wendorf in Tekonsha, MI. He married Judith A. Herman, the love of his life, September 29, 1979, in Coldwater.
Ken was a truck driver for over 50 years. He always enjoyed being on the road, and especially loved hauling tomatoes for AcMoody Farms with his grandchildren joining him in the semi. When he slowed down from driving truck, he needed something to keep him busy and began driving Amish families in the community.
Ken was a member of Lockwood Community Church, and the Moose Lodge. Ken was a handyman, always wanting to help others with his talents. Most of all, he loved his grandchildren more than anything.
Kenneth is survived by his spouse, Judy Wendorf; his daughter Kendra (David) Murray of Quincy; his stepson Randy (Lori) Marquart; his sister Diana Jones of Colon, MI; his grandchildren Kaelin Murray, Emersyn Murray, Colton Murray; many nieces and nephews; his good friends Clyde and Mary Carlisle; Eli and Sarah Wengard and Jacob and Margaret Eicher in addition to his special pup Scooby.
Ken was preceded in death by his stepson Robert Marquart; siblings Robert Wendorf, Edwin Wendorf, Raymond Wendorf, Esther Robinson; and his nephew Jacob Haylett.
