BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson Community Schools were forced to dismiss classes earlier than normal on Tuesday morning.
Superintendent Kate Wall says they were informed that unidentified individuals entered the Junior/Senior High School during the overnight hours and were in the building for a significant amount of time, covering multiple areas.
According to Wall, this raised concern about their intent. She added that after conferring with law enforcement, they cleared an area of the building and held students there until dismissal.
Wall said morning Branch Area Career Center students will be dismissed late and afternoon career students are able to go to center but district transportation will not be available.
She adds school officials will use the day to secure all of the district facilities.
