COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The tenth anniversary of the Doctor Robert W. Browne Recreation Center will be celebrated by the City of Coldwater on December 13.
The renovated building opened to the public in January of 2015 after the Heritage Independence Recreation Gymnasium was doubled in size thanks to an $11 million contribution from Dr. Browne and his wife Lynn for a major expansion of recreational facilities within the city.
There will be refreshments and free activities throughout the day on the 13th including drop-in sports.
Santa Claus will be on hand for outside pet-friendly photos from 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m..
Kids can have their pictures taken with Santa inside of the building between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m..
