Loren Edward King, 77, of Litchfield passed away Monday, November 18, 2024 at his home.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater with Reverend Father Daniel Hyman officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
He was born June 8, 1947 in Hillsdale, MI to Arthur and Cleo (Chamberlain) King.
Loren graduated from Litchfield High School in 1965 and went on to serve his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS John W. Weeks (DD-701) destroyer. He was employed at Houseknecht Oil and Hillsdale Tool in Jonesville for many years and also drove truck for Flint Trucking of Litchfield.
He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his great granddaughter. He loved watching westerns and football and was passionate about keeping his truck clean and his lawn kept.
Loren is survived by three children, Traci (Lynn) Beckwith of Jonesville, Todd (Shannon) King of Coldwater, Troy (Elle) King of Pinckney; one brother, Phillip (Sue) King of Ann Arbor; four grandchildren, Victoria Beckwith, Alexa Beckwith, Alison King, Brennen King and one great-granddaughter, Layla.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Cleo King; one sister, Debbie Hayward; and one brother, Arthur King.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
