Janet K. McManamey, 79, of Quincy, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Jan was born November 11, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Mildred (O’Shaughnessy-Hutchinson) Rawson.
She earned her associate’s degree in accounting and worked for various companies over the years, including Oldsmobile, Auto Owners Insurance and one of her favorites, Valvoline Corporation in Kentucky.
Jan was a dedicated mother and homemaker. She spent many years living in other places, but was always connected to Coldwater through their family home on Coldwater Lake.
Jan was very artistic and loved a variety of crafts, especially crocheting, and playing games with family and friends. She loved gardening, swimming and boating on Coldwater Lake. Above all else, her greatest treasure was her family and the time they spent together, especially the many Christmases at her home in Quincy.
Jan is survived by her children Holly (Glen) Schultz of Seminole, Fl, Lori (Paul) Hollobon of Auburn, WA, Dana Brown of Auburn, WA, Ame Rasmusson of Quincy, Traci (Kurt) Schultz of Coldwater, Steve (Dawn) McManamey of Coldwater; her siblings Carolyn (Dan) Helmic of Mason, Joyce Hoggard of Holt, Larry Walker of Lansing; her grandchildren Ryan, Jesse, Marie, Lynn, John, Jeremiah, Janelle, Jensen, Daniel, Cody, Jami, Carla, Nick, Kyle, Katie & Brayden and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother Mildred (O’Shaughnessy-Hutchinson) Rawson, her step father William “Audley” Rawson, her brother William Walker and her beloved dog “Pepper.”
