Alice M. Leskow, 82, of Coldwater passed away Friday, November 30, 2024 at LakeHouse Assisted Living.
A service will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Alice was born May 16, 1942, to George and Estie (Kimmel) Proxmire in Worstville, Ohio. She married Phil E. Leskow January 13, 1956, in Jellico, TN. He preceded her in death July 31, 2020.
Alice worked at the Community Health Center of Branch County for 41 years as a clerk.
Alice enjoyed walking, flower gardening, lottery, sewing, and cooking for the holidays. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids doing puzzles, being outside, and attending their sporting events. She especially enjoyed going to the Burnside Senior Center, playing pool, card games, and spending time with her friends.
Alice is survived by her children Carmen (Martin) Gochenour of Coldwater, Carey (David) Steffey of Coldwater, Clair “Butch” (Brenda) Leskow of Coldwater; her grandchildren Brian (Ashley) Gochenour, Adam (Sarah) Gochenour, Kyle (Karissa) Steffey, Andrew (Michelle) Leskow, Erin (Josh) Emington; her great grandchildren Keegan Gochenour, Kaleb Gochenour, Khloe Gochenour, Cole Gochenour, Grace Gochenour, and Oaklyn Steffey.
In addition to her husband, Alice was preceded in death by her brothers Arthur Proxmire and George Proxmire.
Memorials may be directed to the Burnside Senior Center and Heartland Hospice.
