We finally have our first blast of winterlike weather, and with it the conclusion of this year’s WTVB First Snowfall Contest. The first one-half inch of measurable of snow at our studios was officially recorded at 10:15 am Friday, November 30, making Ken Loose of Coldwater the winner of our Toro snow blower provided by Century Bank and Trust.
Ken’s guess, which he made back on November 12, was 9:00 a.m., just one hour and 15 minutes off the actual mark.
Others who were close included Kim Swain, Deb Peters, Rebeka Jones, and Clayton Bonham, but Ken’s guess was the closet.
Thanks for the thousands of entries, and congratulations again to Ken Loose for winning our First Snowfall Contest from Century Bank and Trust and WTVB.
