GIRARD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Bronson man was injured Wednesday afternoon in a roll over crash on southbound I-69 south of Herricksville Road.
The crash was reported at 12:34 p.m.. According to the Branch County Sheriff’s Department, a 2001 Ford F-150 driven by 29-year-old Brandon Scott Thyng was involved in the crash.
Deputies assisted Thyng when they arrived. They say Thyng possibly fell asleep, ran off the road and then lost control.
The vehicle rolled over and landed on its roof. A Life Care Ambulance attended to Thyng and transported him to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
He was later transferred to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
The crash still remains under investigation. Deputies were assisted by LifeCare Ambulance, 911 Auto Wrecker and the Coldwater Fire Department.
