Harry D. Cutcher, Jr., 95, of Coldwater passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024 at LakeHouse Assisted Living.
A service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will take place following the service at Fairview Cemetery in Homer, MI.
Harry was born November 18, 1929, in Bono, OH to Harry and Gladys (Swope) Cutcher. He married Jeanne A. Folk March 9, 1947, in Marshall, MI. She preceded him in death November 25, 2012.
Mr. Cutcher was a lifelong worker taking great pride in his businesses, owning an RV park and ladies dress shop on Fort Myers Beach, and Cutcher Supply Company and Coldwater Executive Suites in Coldwater. While owning and operating his businesses he also invested in real estate properties. Later in life, he enjoyed buying older houses to fix up and sell and did so up until 2018.
Harry was a member of the Eagles and Elks, and loved to go dancing with his special friend, Anne Cuendet at the Elks and at home. He also loved to go golfing.
He donated to several charities over the years and was very generous to others who were less fortunate.
Harry is survived by his children Cindy (Roger) Higbea of Fort Mill, SC, Ronda Cutcher of Fort Myers, FL, Sherry (Jesse) Robbins of Chesnee, SC, Michele (Johnny Scott) Cutcher of Fort Wayne, IN; his siblings Leila Todd of Allen, MI, Gale (Patty) Cutcher of Quincy, MI; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews; and special friend Anne Cuendet.
In addition to his wife, Harry was preceded in death by his son Craig Cutcher; brother Ransom Cutcher; and sister-in-law Rachel Cutcher.
Memorials may be directed to LakeHouse Assisted Living in Coldwater or Heartland Hospice.
