BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The updated playground at Bronson’s Kiwanis Park is nearly complete.
Work began this week on installing the new playground equipment, and City Manager Brandon Mersman says they hope to have that installation completed by Friday. A separate contractor will come back in a few weeks to install new mulch. Mersman says the updated playground will be built around the existing swing set and springers to maximize the play area.
The new mulch play surface that will also be added under the existing swings.
The cost of the project is being completely covered by the nearly $74,000 Michigan State Housing Development Authority MI Neighborhood Public Amenity Grant.
