Lois Myers, 81, of Quincy passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
A graveside service to honor the life of Lois Myers will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeview Cemetery with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born on August 28, 1943 in Quincy to Howard and Lena (Frarey) Wilkinson. Lois married Terry Myers April 4, 1992 and he preceded her in death in 2007.
Lois graduated from Quincy High School. She was a long-time member of the Quincy Odd Fellows. She loved playing BINGO, doing puzzles, but most of all she loved her grandchildren. She loved attending all of her grandchildren’s functions.
Lois is survived by two sons, Daniel (Sherry) Lewis of Jackson, Mark (Tessie) Lewis of Quincy; one sister, Dot (Mark) Taylor of Quincy; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Terry, Lois was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Joyce Knapp, Jenny Boatman, Janice Hagaman; four brothers, Dennis Wilkinson, Raymond “Shorty” Wilkinson, Art Wilkinson, Larry Wilkinson; niece, Roxanne Gottschalk and nephews, Roger Knapp, Jimmy Wilkinson and Matthew Taylor.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Center for Courageous Kids, 1501 Burnley Road, Scottsville, Kentucky 42164.
