BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater and Bronson bowling teams traveled to M-66 Bowl in Pennfield on Sunday to compete in the Annual Battle of the Bakers tournament.
The Bronson boys took home the second place trophy. No other details were provided.
The Coldwater Girls had a good day, qualifying third after a 12 game qualifying block, with a score of 1,721.
They lost to Dakota in the first round of match play two games to one and finished fifth out of 20 teams in the girls division.
The Coldwater Varsity boys also bowled a 12 game qualifying block with a score of 1,836, which was good enough to take seventh place and move on to match play.
They faced off with the number 2 seed, Pennfield Panthers and lost two games to one.
The Coldwater boys finished seventh place out of 20 teams in the boys D1 division.
The Coldwater J.V. boys finished their 12 game qualifying block with a score of 1,548 but did not make the cut.
