Clair “Butch” E. Leskow, 64, of Coldwater passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, Florida.
A service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment will follow the service at Lester Cemetery.
Clair was born May 11, 1960, to Phil and Alice (Proxmire) Leskow in Montpelier, OH. He married Brenda A. Harmon on June 26, 1982 in Coldwater.
Butch worked as a lawn care equipment mechanic for many years at several locations. He retired from KFG in Angola, IN in 2021 and has since been employed by Steensma Lawn and Power Equipment in Battle Creek, MI.
He was an avid fan and played volleyball in his younger days. He was an active outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and go boating on Coldwater Lake. Recently he was very excited about his purchase of a new Tracker fishing boat.
Butch loved to tinker, always finding things to fix. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Butch is survived by his wife, Brenda Leskow of Coldwater; his children Andrew (Michelle) Leskow of Battle Creek, Erin (Josh) Emington of Odessa, FL; his sisters Carmen (Martin) Gochenour of Coldwater, Carey (David) Steffey of Coldwater; and many nieces and nephews.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Alice Leskow.
