COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A water line break at Jennings Elementary School has led to a shut down of Quincy Community Schools for Thursday.
The break was discovered Wednesday afternoon shortly before classes were dismissed for the day. Crews are hoping to finish repairs so classes could resume on Friday.
The Branch Area Career Center is open but Quincy students who normally ride the bus to B.A.C.C. will be excused as Quincy High School busses are not available.
Students who drive themselves are expected to attend during their session.
Athletics events including the Quincy boys basketball games against Maple Valley are still scheduled to be played.
Middle School practices will be not be mandatory but will still be held.
