Franklin “Frank” Lett, 68, of Alvordton, OH, formerly of Quincy, MI, passed away Friday January 10, 2025 at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Service Center in Defiance.
A memorial service will be held Monday, January 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Mark Case officiating. Private family interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Quincy at a later date.
Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
He was born February 23, 1956, in Sturgis, MI to Robert Lett and Josephine (Slaybaugh) Lett Fry.
Frank attended Quincy Schools and retired from Dalton Corporation in Stryker, OH.
He loved spending time around the racetrack. As a driver, he was the 1990 Track Champion at Angola Motor Speedway. He also raced for several years at Butler Motor Speedway. When he wasn’t racing, he could be found working and tinkering with other cars.
Beyond the racetrack, he also loved to fish, ride roller coasters at Cedar Point and travel to Maine. Frank proudly served his country in the US Army in Vietnam.
Survivors include three children, Joshua (Kari) Lett of Wauseon, OH, Katrina (Jim) Mosel of Fort Wayne, IN and Linda Lett of Elkhart, IN; several grandchildren; partner, Sasha King; and siblings, Karen (Ed) Christner of Muskegon, MI, Duane (Sandy) Fry of Grand Rapids, MI, and Bill (Cindy) Fry of Coldwater, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janice Payne; brothers, Don and Roy Lett; and stepfather, Lyle Fry.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Fulton County Humane Society in Wauseon, OH.
