Dawn S. Hicks, 64, of Coldwater passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at Insight Hospital and Medical Center Coldwater.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 at Dutcher Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Pastor Terry Siler.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025. Interment will take place following the service at East Gilead Cemetery in Bronson, MI.
Dawn was born February 28, 1960, to Dale Hoard & Betty Randol, in Coldwater. She later met and married Bruce Hicks on June 18, 1977.
Dawn worked at Blue Water Thermal (formerly Assembly Service/ Brazing Concepts) for 28 years.
Dawn enjoyed many things including crafts of all kinds, thrift shopping, watching Facebook reels and Hallmark movies. There was not a person that met Dawn that did not love her, she was a very caring, loving, generous woman with a heart of gold. Most of all, Dawn loved to spend time with Marshall and her family, her grandchildren and great children especially.
Dawn is survived by her significant other Marshall Fitzpatrick; her children Amanda (Kile) Stockert; Bryce Hicks; Kristina (Kevin) Brueck; Andrew (Becky) Fitzpatrick; Brandy Fitzpatrick; Robert (Danielle) Fitzpatrick; Billy (Ashley) Ashbrook; her step mother Lorraine Hoard; her siblings Linda (Jim) Martin; Randy Malone; Tim (Lori) Malone; Cindy Machus; Heidi Hoard; her grandchildren Shane (Destiny); Haleigh (Tylor); Austen; Sumer; Mollie; Sophie; K’lianna; Colton; Amelia; Kennedy; Dakota (McKenna); Cheyler; Jordan; Biancha; Hannah; Bella; Abel; Blake; Raelynn; Decklynn; Scott: her greatgrandchildren Nya; Olivia; Aubrianna; Cooper; Paisleigh; her sister in laws Peggy (Jim) Modert; Patricia Woods; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents Betty (Randol) Malone and Dale Hoard; husband Bruce Hicks; stepfather John Malone; her brother Raine (Malone); her sister Debi (Hoard) Johnson; her brother-in-laws Terry (Roxanne) Hicks; and Paul Woods.
All memorials may be directed to the family for the Hicks Grandchildren Educational Fund.
