Authorities say evidence of commercial BHO production and distribution was found.
BHO production laws prohibit operations in residential areas due to volatility. State Police say this lab was 60 feet from a home with young children.
Warrants were served in the 600 block of Warren Road and the 800 block of Marshall Road.
A hazmat contractor removed the illegal lab, containing butane, hexane, pentane, and other regulated chemicals.
According to the State Police, multiple individuals are facing charges.
The Lakeland Fire Department, the Michigan State Police Aviation Unit, and troopers from the Marshall Regional Law Enforcement Complex assisted during Wednesday’s operation.
