SHERWOOD, TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A 39-year-old woman from Union City lost her life last Saturday night when her vehicle crashed at the intersection of Athens and Dunks Roads.
The Michigan State Police responded to the crash which was reported at around 11:30 p.m..
They say a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on Athens Road when it ran through the intersection, left the road, rolled over multiple times and came to rest south of Milligan Road.
The driver’s name was not released. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Troopers say she was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash investigation is ongoing. The Michigan State Police were assisted by Union City Police, the Sherwood Township Fire Department and LifeCare EMS.
