Power of the Purse raises over $63,000

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- The Branch County United Way’s annual Power of the Purse fundraiser was a huge success, with officials saying after expenses the event March 8 raised $63,365.41.

In all  nearly 100 purses were raffled off as well as a 50/50 drawing.

This was the 11th year for the Power of the Purse in Branch County, with the money raised going toward the United Way’s Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
