JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – A 42 year old Jackson man is facing charges of two counts of aggravated stalking involving Michigan Attorney General Danna Nessel and her wife, Alanna Maguire.
Christopher Baldwin, faced similar charges in 2024 but was deemed incompetent to stand trial.
Baldwin was arraigned this week, in Plymouth’s 35th District Court. Prosecutors say he used Nessel and Maguire’s Plymouth address without permission to receive court documents. He was given a $200,000 bond and must wear a GPS tether if released. A probable cause conference is scheduled for April, 4th and a preliminary examination is scheduled for April 11th.
In March of 2024 Baldwin was accused of stalking Nessel and Maguire on consecutive days including sitting on their porch. Prosecutors emphasize that Baldwin’s behavior constitutes criminal harassment and cannot be tolerated.
