COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- Sunday’s storms knocked out power to most of the city of Coldwater.
Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Director Paul Jakubczak says the city has three incoming transmission lines, one was down for repairs and one was lost in the storm leaving only one in operating condition and that one was still powering the east side of the city from the Culvers restaurant and eastward.
Jakubczak says there is currently no time frame for restoration but they are working on some options for power generation but it would be sporadic around the city at best until the incoming transmission line can be restored.
