COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council gave final approval on Monday night for the installation of the Branch Area Career Center Student Sculpture and its base in the 4 Corners Northwest Park.
The Council passed an Intergovernmental Agreement between the city and the Branch Intermediate School District as well as a Public Art License Agreement.
The student-led project involves several departments from the Career Center.
Coldwater Economic Development Coordinator Erin Veysey says the sculpture is inspired by Coldwater’s longstanding commitment to the Arbor Day Foundation’s Tree City USA program and they plan to unveil the sculpture on April 25, in conjunction with Arbor Day celebrations.
