COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Board of Directors gave their approval Wednesday night to a request from the Branch District Library to install a permanent StoryWalk at Waterworks Park.

It would be similar to other StoryWalks which have been installed at Heritage Park and in the Quincy Park.
The Story Walk includes picture book display signs along a walking path.
Erica Donihue from the District Library said there would be 18 signs at Waterworks Park.
Audio PlayerKimberly Feltner from the Library said they hope to change the story lines four times a year.
Audio PlayerThe Branch District Library has been working with Altrursa International of Branch County to fund the project. The library and Altrusa would also maintain the StoryWalk.
The CBPU would assist in the installation process of the signs. It’s hoped the signs will be ready for public viewing by the middle of May.
