Sean was born July 14, 1975 in Harlan, Kentucky to Mary Osborne. He graduated from Quincy High School with the Class of 1993 and earned an associate degree from Kellogg Community College in 2007.
Sean worked various jobs after high school until he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2002. He completed three tours of duty in Iraq, on the frontlines as an LAV Crewman. Sean received many medals, ribbons, and awards while on duty, and remained an active member of the Marine Corps League. Serving in the Marines was one of his greatest and proudest accomplishments.
While Sean left us far too soon, the impact he made on those who knew him will be felt for years to come. Always smiling his big, cheesy smile, Sean was the life of the party. Joking and laughing were just a few ways to describe his wonderful personality. He had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. Sean had a love for the University of Kentucky basketball, and the Chicago Cubs. He was a true fan, even in the bad seasons.
Sean was a master of humor, a comedian at heart and a friend to all. He could make you laugh even when you thought it was impossible. His laugh was infectious and his stories were legendary. Sean was a family man with his children. They were his pride and joy. He will deeply be missed by all who knew him.
Sean is survived by his mother, Mary Osborne; his children, Sarah, Clayton, and Joseph; his sister, Shannon (Brian Ash) Osborne; his uncles, Clark (Linda) Osborne and Wink (Jean) Osborne; his aunts, Betty Dean, Alberta Osborne, Deb Osborne, LaDora Osborne, and Teresa Osborne; his niece and nephew, Emma (Angel Rojas) Bronson and Collin Dearman; his cousins, Tammy Kerr, Tony (Kim) Dean, Scott Osborne, Heather Osborne, Dustin Osborne, Mandy Wood, Jeff (Jen) Osborne, and Hannah (Will) Brown. Sean also leaves behind his former wives Merri Klingle and Stacey (Erin Wilson) Russell, with whom he remained close with; and many, many, many friends.
Sean was preceded in death by his uncles, Joe, Walt, Michael, and Jimmy Osborne.
Memorial contributions can be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
