DUNDEE, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s track and field teams ran at the Clinton Redwolves Invitational Saturday at Dundee High School. The Oriole boys won their meet with 97 points, 16.5 points ahead of second place Clinton. The Oriole girls finished third with 69.25 points, 6.5 points behind second place Dundee; Blissfield won with a total of 111.25 points.
The Quincy boys had three event winners: Clayton Benson in the 110m hurdles, Noah Rufenacht in the high jump, and Corey Turner in the pole vault. They also had runner-up finishes from Benson in the 300m hurdles, Rufenacht in the long jump, and Tyler Miner in the shot put, in addition to taking second in three of the four relay races.
For the Lady O’s, Brookelyn Parker was a double winner, taking first in both the 100m and 300m hurdles. Addison Hasten placed second in the discus, and Abby Miller was second in the high jump.
Quincy returns to action Wednesday against Olivet and Eaton Rapids in a tri-meet at Olivet.
