QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy girls soccer team added another win to their record Wednesday night with a 7-0 shutout over Maple Valley.
Leading the offensive charge were Abby Hinds and Izzy Barrio, each netting two goals. Kenzi Maynard and Ella Bartel added one goal apiece, while a special moment came late in the game when goalkeeper Danica Swift stepped out of the net and scored her first goal of the season, assisted by Ciara Paul. Laura Bostic also contributed with an assist.
The Lady O’s defense was impenetrable, not allowing a single shot on goal throughout the match. With this victory, Quincy improves to 7-2 overall and remains undefeated in conference play at 3-0.
The girls will travel to Delton Kellogg on Friday night.
Bronson picked up a 3-1 win at Stockbridge.
