PITTSFORD, MI (WTVB) – Quincy’s boys track team placed second, while the Oriole girls were third, at the Ralph Crume Invitational that was held Saturday at Pittsford High School.
Adrian Madison won the boys meet with a team score of 133, while Quincy was runner up with their score of 97. Noah Rufenact had another big day, winning the 400m and the high jump and placing second in the long jump. Clayton Benson once again swept to victory in both hurdle races. And in the shot put, Tyler Miner and Ethan Pearson finished 1-2.
In the girls meet, the host Wildcats won with a team score of 91.33. Quincy’s score of 80 was just three points behind runner-up Adrian Madison. The top finishes for the Lady O’s came from Lainey Yearling, who placed second in the 1600m and 3200m, Brookelyn Parker, who was second in both hurdle races, and Ashlyn Fickle, who was second in the high jump.
The Orioles will host Concord in a dual meet Wednesday.
