BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson Police are urging citizens to watch for fake $100.00 bills.
According to a post on the departments Facebook page, they recently had two fake $100 bills turned in after they were found on the ground in the area of CC’s Diner.
Police say the fake money had a dead give away that it wasn’t real. They say if you look closely at the left side of the bill bill, it says “COPY” .

The post goes on to say they don’t want to see anyone get taken advantage of, especially with garage sales around town, as the suspects might try to get the fake bills exchanged for smaller real bills.
They say so far at least one person has been scammed with the fake money and is now out $100. They warn to always be aware of potential scams.
