COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Joshua Creager of Burlington was sentenced Monday in Branch County Circuit Court to multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct and possession of child pornography as a result of an investigation into a sexual relationship with a minor child.
In a plea agreement, Branch County Prosecutor Zach Stempien says Creager pled guilty to one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the First Degree with a Killebrew Agreement of 51 months to 15 years in prison. In exchange for the guilty plea Creager had the other charges dropped.
Creager will also be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life and also be required to comply with mandatory lifetime electronic monitoring as a result of his convictions.
Stempien says the 51 month sentence falls within the sentencing guidelines for the Criminal Sexual Conduct First Degree. He said based on the facts of the case, the sentences would be required to run concurrently, meaning that the dismissal of the other counts did not reduce the potential sentencing for Creager.

Yes, that meets sentencing guidelines AFTER the plea deal reduced the charges. Too many pleas in Branch County Courts!
