COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater tied 109 year old record low temperature this morning.
Just after 6 a.m. this morning we bottomed out at 40 degrees, tying the all time record low for August 27th that was set back in 1916. Jonesville did set a new record low this morning when the temperature dropped to 37 degrees. Quincy, Hillsdale and Angola all recorded early morning lows of 41 degrees.
Temperatures will slowly moderate through the Labor Day weekend into early next week, before another potent cold front is expected to push down from Canada into the United States late next week.
