COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Phase one of the $1.5 million Rotary Park improvement project in Coldwater is set to begin next week.
That will include a new double concrete boat launch. For that reason the City of Coldwater is reminding boaters who plan to pull their boats out of the water in the park it should be done this weekend. The new boat ramps are expected to be ready by spring.

Phase one also calls for the three current entrances to be closed, and a new entrance to be constructed as well as adding a new fishing area along the west side of the Narrows channel near the bridge.
The second phase will include, taking down the old pavilion and replacing with a new one on the waterfront, new wetland walkways and parking areas as well as a new floating dock on Messenger Lake.
