COLDWATER, MI ( WTVB)- The city of Coldwater will begin micro surfacing several sections of town starting today . Affected houses/streets will receive construction notice doorhangers with additional instructions prior to work being done on individual streets.
Planned Construction Areas (in order) Include:
* S. Sprague (bridge to E. Garfield)
* Washington St (Elm to S. Clay)
* S. Monroe St (W. Park Ave. to W. Pearl St.)
* N. Clay St (Harrison to US12/Chicago St.)
* N Hanchett St (Harrison to US12/Chicago St.)
* Henry St (Munson to N. Polk)
* Thompson Blvd (Pillsbury to Seeley)
The city is asking residents to avoid parking on affected streets (use side streets or driveways), Obey “No Parking” signs, drive cautiously and avoid the area if possible and no sharp braking or turns within 24 hours after treatment.
The city says the will work to minimize disruption and reopen lanes as quickly as possible.
Also beginning today crews will begin lead service line replacements on Marshall St./Old 27 (from Taylor St. to State St.), that work is expected to last into November.



You need to do something with all the holes on S.Clay from Post office to stop at division. I walk thru there a lot and have to avoid sooooo many holes and rough pavement.
