PARCHMENT, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater and Bronson cross country teams ran at the Parchment Classic Wednesday afternoon.
In the boys race, Coldwater won with 59 points, while runner-up Marshall had 66. Bronson finished third with 84 points. Earning medals for the Cardinals were Luke Aerts (3rd), Sebastian Hernandez (5th), and Drew Vanderpuyl (6th). For the Vikings, Brayton Cosby earned a medal with his ninth place finish.

Bronson came in second in the girls race with 49 points, just four back of first place Marshall. Coldwater was fourth with 115 points. The Vikings had three girls on the medal stand: race winner Ashlynn Harris, Alonna Goodsell (9th), and Miriam Sanchez (10th). Gwen Eby earned a medal for the Cardinals with her fifth place finish.

Bronson will return to action next Tuesday at Stockbridge for the first Big 8 jamboree of the season. Coldwater will run at the DeWitt Invitational next Saturday, September 27.
BATTLE CREEK, MI – The Legg Middle School cross country team ran at the Harper Creek Middle School Invitational on Wednesday. The girls finished fifth, while the boys were seventh.
