COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Century Bank and Trust is pleased to announce the
recent promotions of three dedicated team members, approved by the Board of
Directors. These promotions recognize their continued commitment to our customers, communities, and the growth of our organization.
Melinda Dean has been promoted to Assistant Vice President & Mortgage Loan Officer.
Melinda began her career as a real estate agent, spending eight years selling homes
before joining Century Bank and Trust in 2008 as a Loan Operations Specialist. She later became Branch Manager of the Quincy office in 2012. With over 17 years of banking experience, including seven years in retail lending, Melinda has been
instrumental in guiding customers through the mortgage process. She is also actively involved in Junior Achievement Training and is a member of the Branch County Association of Realtors (BCAR).
Jacob Modert has been named a bank officer and promoted to Assistant Credit Officer Credit Department Manager. Jacob joined Century Bank and Trust in September 2021 as a Credit Analyst and quickly advanced to Credit Department Manager in 2023. In his new role, Jacob will continue supporting Century’s credit risk management initiatives while helping to promote financial growth in the communities the bank serves.
Ryan Saddler has been promoted to Assistant Vice President & Commercial Loan and Cash Management Officer. Ryan joined Century Bank and Trust in 2012 and brings more than 15 years of experience in financial operations, treasury management, and commercial lending. He helped develop and lead the Treasury Management Department and continues to serve a wide range of commercial, industrial, and municipal clients. Ryan also manages a portfolio of commercial loan clients, oversees digital banking platforms, and supports financial and operational risk management for the bank.
