RoseMarie L. Johnson, 81, of Coldwater passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.
A graveside service will take place at West Girard Cemetery Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
All arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
RoseMarie was born May 31, 1944 to Chasley J. and Gertrude G. (Philbrick) Herman in Branch County. She graduated from St. Charles High School and later met and married Per Johnson on June 30, 1962, in Coldwater.
RoseMarie was an avid reader and birdwatcher, her faith was a very important part of her life. She loved to play games, and going for rides. Most importantly she loved making others laugh, her family and spending time with them, her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially.
RoseMarie is survived by her children Christopher Johnson; Mark (Arlene) Johnson; EllenSue Johnson; Todd (Patty) Johnson; her grandchildren Irissa Johnson; Ashley (Ross) Winston; Tye Johnson; Shalimar (Bobby Howard) Johnson; Kayla (Zach Gethin); her step grandchildren Sarah (Ryan) Raymond; Courtney (Kevin) VanHagen; her greatgrandchildren Paxton; Arianna Winston; Remy Winston; Connor Winston; Jaxsin Howard; Parker Howard; Jackson Raymond; Kennedy Raymond; Ronan VanHagen; Bodhi VanHagen; her very special adopted daughter Amy Blakely; her sister Suzanne (Larry) Colvin; many loving nieces and nephews.
RoseMarie is preceded in death by her parents Chasley and Gertrude Herman; her husband Per Johnson; her brothers Norris Herman; Lawrence Herman; and her sister Lucile Batterson.
A special thank you to Hospice Centrica of Kalamazoo, and her special nurse Jenny, her aide Cassidy and her Dr. Kasey, along with her special friend Artist Frazier.
