COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Jefferson Elementary School in Coldwater recently hosted its annual “Goodies with Grandparents” event, which welcomed approximately 380 guests for breakfast and activities such as a photo booth and book fair.
Teachers organized special projects including flower and letter creation stations and coloring pages to help students and their guests connect and create memories.

A sensory-friendly session followed the main event for identified students.
Retired teachers Neva Lounds and Nancy Mahle served as “adopted grandparents” for students whose grandparents could not attend.
Principal Tobi Reardon described the event as a “great day,” noting the turnout, student joy, and community spirit.
