COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Cardinal Field will be one of the the 16 neutral sites hosting an MHSAA Football Semifinal game this coming Saturday, November 22nd. The Schoolcraft Eagles and Clinton Redwolves will square off in a Division 7 Semifinal contest.
Schoolcraft rallied from a 14-6 halftime deficit to defeat Hanover-Horton 22-14 in a Division 7 Regional Final Saturday afternoon, while Clinton used a last-minute score to knock off defending champion Millington 20-18.
Among other area teams still alive in this year’s playoffs:
- Portage Central will face Orchard Lake St. Mary’s in a Division 2 Semifinal at Haslett.
- Following a walkoff touchdown as time expired to upset Portland Friday night, Vicksburg will take on Hudsonville Unity Christian in a Division 4 Semifinal at Caledonia.
- Jackson Lumen Christi will face Almont in a Division 6 Semifinal at Novi.
Here is the complete schedule for the 11-Player Football Semifinals on Saturday, November 22nd. All games will kick off at 1 p.m. All winners advance to the Finals on Thanksgiving weekend at Ford Field in Detroit.
