COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Mendon showed why they were Division 4’s top team in the final Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association poll of the season. The Hornets defeated Hillsdale Academy in straights sets, 25-17, 25-21, 25-18, in an MHSAA Division 4 Quarterfinal match at Coldwater High School’s Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium to improve to 37-6-1 on the season.
Meanwhile, at the Division 3 Quarterfinal hosted by Vicksburg, the team that ended Bronson’s season is moving on. Kalamazoo Christian knocked off Pewamo-Westphalia in four sets, 12-25, 25-12, 25-15, 25-23. The Comets are now 29-12-3.
