BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Pigskin Prophet is coming to you earlier than usual this week due to the Thanksgiving holiday and it’s going to be one of the biggest football weekends of the year.
You can stuff yourself with the Lions against the Packers, the Ohio State-Michigan border war and all of the M.H.S.A.A. state title games.
In the spirit of the Swami and the Son of Swami, we attempted to pick the state high school semifinal games last weekend. Our record was a rather uninspiring 10 and 8.
All of the State Finals will be played on Friday and Sunday at Ford Field in downtown Detroit. That’s because Michigan State will play Maryland Saturday night at Ford Field in a game that nobody cares about.
