Anne Cuendet, 94, of Coldwater passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility.
A private graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater with Deacon John Wielgos from St. Charles Borromeo Church officiating.
A celebration of Anne’s life will be held Friday, December 12, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Occasions Hall, 430 West Chicago Street, Coldwater.
Anne was born August 9, 1931 in Coldwater, MI to Joseph & Mary (Kubiak) Blaskie. She was briefly married to Robert Milliman and then married the love of her life Arthur Cuendet May 9, 1992 in Coldwater. He preceded her in death April 19, 2013.
Anne was a successful businesswoman. She began her career at Crotty Corporation where she worked in purchasing and administration for 21 years.
Anne was the founder and co-owner with Ken Bible of Coldwater Products, Coldwater Sintered Metals and Battle Creek Machine. They operated these businesses for over 30 years. After her retirement, Anne continued to work in the Coldwater Walmart administrative offices.
Anne attended St. Charles Borromeo Church and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Eagles and the Coldwater Elks. She loved shopping with Debra and her friends and was always searching for bargains. Anne enjoyed flower gardening; she had an eye for style and a flair for decorating. She had a great appreciation of music and love of dance, which she instilled in her daughters, especially Debra.
She loved to entertain friends and family, always putting together unique dinner parties and family celebrations. Anne loved animals, especially her German shepherds, and they loved her back. The neighborhood dogs Mable, Dilly, Gracie and Oscar always knew where to stop for a treat. Most of all, Anne was very family oriented; she adored her family, they always came first.
Anne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debra and Denny Ambrose of Coldwater; her grandchildren Kristopher (Kate) Ambrose, William (Alina) Turgeon, David Turgeon; her great grandchildren Noah Ambrose, Chase Ambrose, Victoria Turgeon and Alex Turgeon; her granddaughters Valerie (Joe) Dunn, Dawn (Dave) Hollen and their families.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Judith Bradley, her siblings Marcella (Stan) Cuthbert, Mary (Joe) Acock, Joe (Joyce) Blaskie, Bert (Edna) Blaskie, Dan (Rosetta) Blaskie, Raymond Blaskie, her former husband Robert Milliman, her special friend and dance partner Harry Cutcher and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or H and C Burnside Senior Center.
