Michael Charles Allsbury, 62, of Fremont, IN passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Parkview Reginal Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Peggy Parkinson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sherwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Michael was born April 13, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana, to Claudia Jo (Dalburg) Allsbury. Michael married the love of his life, Lisa Leal, March 13, 1992 in Coldwater, MI. They built a life centered on love, family, and simple joys.
Michael worked for many years at Dexter Axel and was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 20. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and commitment to those he worked alongside.
Outside of work, Mike embraced the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, water skiing, and camping; pastimes that brought him peace and allowed him to share meaningful moments with those he loved.
Above all, his greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Michael will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Lisa Allsbury, Michael is survived by his children Devon Allsbury of Fremont, IN, Amber (Blake) Thiel of Edon, OH; his siblings Edward Gillies of Battle Creek, MI, Peggy Parkinson of Crown Point, IN; his grandchildren Everett Hancock, Harper Allsbury, Emmitt Thiel; his many loving nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Prince.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Sherrie Farlin and Kim Allsbury.
