COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Insight Hospital & Medical Center Coldwater is pleased to announce that Dr. Frederick Ast has joined its Rheumatology team and is currently accepting new patients.
With over 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Ast specializes in diagnosing and treating complex rheumatologic and immunologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, vasculitis, allergic asthma, and more. His extensive background includes an internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, a rheumatology fellowship at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, and an allergy and immunology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.
With the colder weather makes this an ideal time for patients with arthritis or autoimmune conditions to schedule a consultation, as seasonal changes frequently exacerbate joint pain, stiffness, and inflammation.
