MENDON, MI (WTVB) – Even though most of the high school sporting events around the area were canceled Wednesday because of slippery roads, the Union City girls basketball improved their record to 2-0 with a 43-27 win at Mendon.
Calli Wilkinson had eleven points, four rebounds, and three steals. Madison Krummrey had ten points, five rebounds, and two assist, while Nala Payne had nine points, four rebounds and five assists.
Ellie Williams chipped in with nine points, eight rebounds, and two steals.
The Chargers will play Napoleon in non-conference action Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
