Garry Keith Ritchey, 54, of Allen, passed away at the Henry Ford Detroit Hospital Sunday, December 28, 2025.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
He was born at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware November 26, 1971 to the late Garry Lee Ritchey and Nancy (Shelt) Ritchey. Garry and his partner, Meghan Slade created a loving life together before she preceded him in death March 4, 2022.
Garry graduated from Glencliff High School then went on to earn his associates degree from Nossi Art School. He spent many years working as a chef, and bartending at the Quincy American Legion where he was a member.
He loved to be creative and was an avid artist making digital art, photography, and watching movies. He was enthusiastic about Scottish culture, geography, and history. He always knew the best trivia and enjoyed traveling to Tennessee whenever he could go visit his best friend, Angela Saturley.
Survivors include his two children, Kasper Ritchey, and Sean Ritchey; Mother, Nancy Ritchey; and two siblings, Tracy (Mike) Wilks, and James (Brandy) Ritchey.
Garry was preceded in death by his father; and his partner, Meghan Slade.
